QDA Miner is a computer-assisted qualitative data analysis software. The 2025 version introduces a new generation of AI-supported tools that combine the flexibility of generative AI with the transparency and control expected by qualitative researchers. Rather than adopting a black-box approach, the software lets you choose the AI engine and model, offers full visibility into the prompts used, and allows you to customize them or design your own. New capabilities include AI-assisted retrieval, summarization, and classification routines, as well as natural language filtering and post-processing of search results. These features are designed to complement, not replace, researcher judgment, enabling more efficient exploration, interpretation, and validation of qualitative data. We will also demonstrate more advanced AI scripting capabilities ai1med at automating time-intensive tasks.

The 45-minute session will conclude with an interactive Q&A session, allowing participants to engage directly with Normand Péladeau and gain deeper insights into text analysis.
